CLAT is one of the highly-anticipated national level entrance exams for aspiring lawyers in India. Conducted by a Consortium of NLUs to make candidates eligible for the top 22 law universities in India, the CLAT 2022 will be held on May 8.

Important Event & Dates for CLAT 2022
- CLAT 2022 Notification
The Consortium of NLUs has announced that they’ll be conducting both the CLAT 2022 and 2023 exam this year.
The CLAT 2022 exam will take place on May 8, 2022, whereas CLAT 2023 is scheduled for 18th December later this year.
- CLAT 2022 Application Form
The online application for CLAT 2022 is open from 1st January 2022 to 31 March 2022. Candidates can apply for the CLAT Exam from the consortium’s official website.
The application process is common for both integrated and 1-year LLM programmes. You can choose your preferred programme while filing your application.
Candidates must register themselves on the Consortium’s website by correctly entering all the required details.
After completing the verification process & fulfilling the application criteria, candidates can submit the required documents & pay the application fee. Application fees for general, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, OCI candidates is INR 4,000, and for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/BPL category is INR 3,500.
- CLAT 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for the CLAT 2022 exam will be issued by the Consortium a few weeks before the examination.
Candidates can download their admit card/hall ticket from the official CLAT website. The document contains the candidate’s name and roll number, along with the date & centre location.
It is essential to carry your admit card enter the exam hall.
- CLAT 2022 Exam Date
CLAT 2022 exam is scheduled for 8th of May, 2022, from 3 pm to 5 pm in offline mode.
- CLAT 2022 Answer Key
The CLAT 2022 answer key will be released by the Consortium in the second week of May. It’ll be available online on the official portal – www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The answer key will include answers to questions asked in the exam.
- CLAT 2022 Result
The CLAT 2022 results are expected on the official Consortium website during the third week of May. The scores are displayed with the candidate’s overall rank & category rank.
The Consortium will also release CLAT UG and PG merit lists alongside.
- CLAT 2022 Counselling Schedule
The consortium of NLUs will announce the counselling schedule immediately after declaring the CLAT 2022 result.
This five rounds online counselling process invites candidates to participate in the process. The seats will be determined based on the candidate’s score & preferred NLU.
